MBFW Day 3: Premium // SEEK

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go to more runway shows other than the one by Rebekka Ruétz since I had to work in the afternoon until the evening. But I was really really happy that some of those designers still showed their collection at the Premium Exhibition. So, here comes the 3rd and last Berlin Fashion Week S/S'15 post:

You might still remember the brand UMASAN, I reported about them last season during fashion week. Too bad I missed this summer's show, but at least I could get a small sneak into their new collection at Premium. Umasan is a vegan, sustainable and environmental-friendly brand from Berlin. The twins Anja and Sandra Umann are the designers behind this minimalistic, asian inspired label. For Spring/Summer'15, they stick to black, light fabrics and clear cuts combined with a few ochre and white pieces. Above, you can see my favorite pieces, but have a look at their runway show here.

A bit more fun, a bit more quirky and a bit more childish is definitely the Collection by Franziska Michael. She told us that her designs were inspired by many elements such as children, barbies, but also the hiphop culture and sports like basketball.

She is definitely doing her own thing and does not fit in Berlin's simple and minimalistic style scene, which I very like because she sticks out and combines different materials, but also shapes and colors. Mint green and peachy rose find their ways together through black and white. Have a closer look and maybe you will find the Barbie in her pieces ;-) Click here to see her show. What do you think guys?

One of the most beautiful collections and in my opinion runway shows was that of Malaika Raiss. Feminine, chic, elegant, but also cool with statement sweaters such as the one below encouraging any girl to be good at ... not giving a shit? :)
Clear cuts have a feminine touch through sequins, the pattern and the summery color scheme make any woman want to live in her collection. Either for business, a picknick, a night-out or a casual meeting, the collection serves it all.

We can only guess that the designer did not want to decide on one color scheme, so that there's a variety of colors such as bright orange, rose, wine red, dark royal blue and white. Polka dots, see-through stripes and monochrome pieces are perfectly matched. And then there's the black and white print with the toucan, oh my, I think, I should start saving money for next summer now!!! Don't you think this collection is just amazing?

You should have a look into the runway show here with one of the most known German model Franzi Müller in front. The pieces look even better when worn! Sorry for the many pictures I took from the collection, it is just so so beautiful!

I guess, I am in LOVE with leather again.. strolling through the Seek Exhibtion, I have noticed a new brand called PB0110 by Philipp Bree. He teamed up with a few designers such as Ayzit Bostan and created this line for his spring/summer collection. Not only were there bags, but also phone cases, backpacks and purses. The black handbag above on the left is my favorite. What's yours?

MBFW Berlin Outfits Day 2

Top & Leather Shorts by Topshop
Zac Posen Handbag, Nike SB Zoom Janoski

As you can see, I'm still trying to find my ways through posing and Outfit shoots.. I do still feel a bit uncomfortable doing this because I'm way better behind the lense shooting others. But hey! Practicing is the key with everything. Yeah, so I kept it pretty simple for the Bright Tradeshow. That day, I wore the second pair of my new Nike SBs (oh you should see them now.. good that I had them on for the Fashionweek first) and all black and grey. I still love those leather pants, really don't regret that purchase. And the Zac Posen Handbag was the perfect fit! A bit of black leather makes any sporty outfit chic :)

Top by Komorebi, Pants and Necklace by H&M
Leather Handbag by Freygang, Casio Watch, Boxfresh Sneaker

Sandra kept it simple as well, we went black everything, everyday. No, but she combined a self-printed top by a friend with some skinny jeans (never a bad idea) with her sneakers and a golden chunky necklace. We are such gold diggers haha.. so what do you think?

MBFW Berlin Day 2: Bright Trade Show

Whenever I'm at the Berlin Fashionweek, I'm always like: I want to have this and shop this and that and oh my gosh, this one is so so beautiful.. but yep, maybe in a year, which is not thaaat bad for my pocket (I'm still trying to save money!). But here comes a small insight into this year's Bright Trade Show, Europe's biggest Skate and Streetwear Fair:

In the first pictures, you'll see that Adidas Originals is bringing out a bunch of Skate Shoes next summer, which I am really happy about because looking for adidas skating shoes here in Germany was kind of disappointing. There weren't many designs, so that I'm now pretty excited about the next season. The one in the right upper corner is my favorite, I really love the combination of royal blue and cyan. If you're into sneakers as well, what's your favorite?

Sandra and I did a stop at the Burton booth and they introduced us to their new apparal and bag collection, which is mostly inspired by Outdoor/Camping/Hiking Adventures. So, for all travelers out there who plan some tours into nature, Burton has a few transitional pieces such as the light-weight Poncho or the board shorts, which has a cool idea: the fabric changes its appearance when getting wet. Isn't that nice? Too bad, that's only for men.

The women's collection is inspired by the ocean and the jellyfish, some pieces have the print on it, which I really like. The t-shirt below is my favorite, but the women's wear is mostly hippie/surf/beach-oriented. But there is also this variety of backpacks for either work, school or outdoor trips. What do you guys think of Burton's Spring/Summer 2015 Collection?

And then, we found out about RVCA, don't really know how to say it the right way, I think some of their PR-people said 'ruca', oh Wikipedia says: rue-cuh.. still not sure though. But anyways, we saw the women's line and really fell in love with the cuts and prints. In the last picture, you'll actually see a jumpsuit, isn't it lovely? Cannot wait for this piece to come out next summer and wear it to the lake! The brand is based in California, oh yes! but belongs to the Australian brand Billabong. RVCA has its focus on the art, surf and skateboard scene, I really need to check them out when I'm back there.. have you guys heard about them yet?
